Health and Social Services

Sacramento County is proud to announce that the Department of Child, Family, and Adult Services (DCFAS) has been named the winner of the inaugural Social Sector Hero of the Year Award by Clear Impact.

This international recognition celebrates organizations that demonstrate exceptional measurable impact, transparency and a commitment to continuous improvement in their communities. Clear Impact is an organization that offers software, training and support to help governments, non-profits and communities keep track of their programs, see how their work is making a difference and share their progress.

Each winner has been recognized for strong alignment with Clear Impact’s Social Sector Hero strategies, particularly the use of storytelling to connect data with real-life impact.
