Folsom Tech Week 2026 returns March 3–6, 2026, bringing together Northern California’s entrepreneurs, technologists, investors, and government leaders for four focused days of real conversations, practical insights, and meaningful connections.

It’s a place for builders and operators who care about outcomes– not hype– to dig into how technology is actually driving innovation, efficiency, and real-world impact across industries.

What to Expect: 2026 Track Highlights

Each day of Folsom Tech Week is intentionally designed around real-world challenges, practical lessons, and honest conversations.

Day 1 – HealthTech, BioTech & Pharma

The first day centers on a critical question: Why do so many promising health innovations fail to reach real patient impact? The programming focuses on adoption, outcomes, and what it truly takes to deploy technology inside complex healthcare systems.

Topics include interoperability that works in practice, AI that fits into clinical workflows, and the regulatory, privacy, and security realities that often determine whether a product ever launches. The day closes with a candid look at how health systems actually decide to build, buy, or partner.

Day 2 – GovTech

The second day explores how technology moves through government in the real world– beyond theory and into procurement, security reviews, and deployment. Sessions cover modern procurement pathways, cybersecurity challenges faced by cities with limited resources, practical AI use cases already improving public services, and the “last mile” problem of data sharing across agencies.

This day is built for builders and operators who want to understand government as it truly operates.

Day 3 – AI

Day 3 reframes AI as an operational capability rather than a product trend. The focus is on what’s delivering measurable ROI today: enterprise adoption, workflow integration, RAG and agent-based systems, and automation that actually sticks.

Conversations also tackle defensibility, governance, safety, IP, and compliance– offering practical guidance for leaders responsible for real outcomes, not experiments.

Day 4 – Startups & Pitch Competition
