Strauss Cast Members
The Strauss Festival is a classical music and dance performance held for four nights the last full weekend in July. This year’s dates are July 24-27, 2025. The 2025 theme will be “Practically STRAUSS in Every Way,” which is a take-off on the Mary Poppins theme.
The festival has a cast and crew ages 5-84 and all members of the production are volunteers–it is FREE to attend. A prelude stroll is held at 7:30 p.m. before the show actually begins. Held in Elk Grove Regional Park with seating on blankets/lawn chairs under the evening skies, the park is a pleasant temperature even if the days have been hot. A 40-piece Camellia Symphony orchestra accompanies the classical music of Johann Strauss II with beautiful waltzes, quadrilles, and polkas. Glamorous costumes set off by professional lighting and sound make this festival a “must-see” event! Food, beverages, and Strauss merchandise are available for purchase.
