Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Celebration (Saturday, October 25 from 1 to 5 p.m.):
The celebration is open to the public and provides an opportunity for the Sacramento community to come together.
Community Altars: Guests are invited to contribute photos, flowers, and written messages to a collective altar.
Interactive Activities: Sugar skull decorating, nicho-making, and traditional face painting for children and families.
Cultural Education: Informational booths and displays will share the history and meaning of Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead), with digital resources available via QR code.
Performances: Live Aztec and folklorico dance, mariachi music, and storytelling sessions.
