Day of Activities Celebrating Chinese Railroad Workers

Join us on Aug 9th at The Celine (428 J St, Sacramento) as we celebrate the contributions of the Chinese American railroad workers who helped build the Transcontinental Railroad. We will be unveiling a National Historic Landmark and a Civil Engineering plaque commemorating the accomplishments at Summit Camp and Summit Tunnel.  Attendees can explore interpretive exhibits, enjoy storytelling from historians, view art by local and Chinese American artists, and engage with community organizations. Free refreshments will be provided. Free admission for all!
