Capitol Park Junior Rangers

Presented by California State Capitol Museum and California State Parks Dept. of Parks & Recreation at Unknown

Have fun exploring the Capitol Park this summer to earn your Junior Ranger Badge. A Park Guide will teach Junior Rangers about the plants and animals in this urban park with hands-on activities. Choose from three different programs: Using a Map and Compass, Redwoods and Oaks, or Urban Park Ecosystems.

At your first Junior Ranger program you will get a logbook and badge. For each program you will earn a stamp in your logbook. There are over 70 participating California State Parks with Junior Ranger programs. Bring your logbook to other California State Parks to get it stamped and earn some cool rewards!

Please arrive 10 minutes before the program for check-in, wear comfortable shoes and bring water, sunscreen, and hat. A parent or guardian must accompany their child at all times.
