Join the Sacramento Area Lions District 4-C5 for a Community Health Fair bringing vital health services, trusted resources and family-focused activities together in one place.
The response from our community has been incredible! Forty-nine exhibitors and vendors have already confirmed their participation out of 80 organizations invited, and additional confirmations continue to arrive.

HEALTH AND WELLNESS SERVICES
Eye examinations provided by the Northern California Lions Sight Association
Vision screenings conducted by the Maharlika Lions Club
Free diabetes and blood pressure screenings
Immunizations provided by Pucci’s Pharmacy, including flu, polio, DTaP/Tdap, Hepatitis B, MMR and varicella vaccines
Dental goodie bags from Sacramento County Oral Health containing toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss and educational materials
Resources for seniors, children and families addressing medical navigation, lead poisoning prevention, drug prevention, Alzheimer’s studies and autism
IMPORTANT IMMUNIZATION INFORMATION
Medi-Cal may cover vaccine costs for eligible children and adults. Attendees should bring their Medi-Cal card or Social Security number for verification. Uninsured children may qualify through the Vaccines for Children Program, with a $26.03 administration fee.
Adults age 19 and older without Medi-Cal may be able to use their health insurance. Kaiser members are generally required to receive covered services through Kaiser. Self-pay options may also be available.
FUN FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES
Interactive, hands-on educational activities presented by the SMUD STEM Team
A dedicated Kids’ Corner hosted by the Midtown Lions Club, featuring jumbo games and family-friendly activities
Special appearances currently scheduled to include the Ghostbusters, Superman, a princess and ArtooSC’s Star Wars-inspired droids
A special performance by the Star Dancer Filipino cultural dance group
And this is only part of what is planned! More exhibitors, services and activities will be announced as the event approaches.
